There are many popular children's books available for free online.

Most parents would agree that reading a book to a child and snuggling close is the best way for a child to enjoy a story, but life gets busy. Sometimes we don't always read as much as we'd like. When life gets busy, parents can feel good about having a child listen and watch a good book online.

Signed Stories allows you to search by theme and recommends similar stories. There are so many books. I couldn't count them all. You're sure to find stories to entertain a child of any age. This site has the reader of the story also tell the story with sign language for the hearing impaired. How cool is that? You won't run out of entertaining stories for a long time on this site!

Storyline Online has popular children's books read by actors. There are twenty-four books read with heart-felt expression by talented actors. Stellaluna by Pamela Reed was one of our favorites.

Online Storytime by Barnes and Noble is a growing collection of stories read aloud by authors and celebrities. There are currently fourteen fun stories available. This site is definitely worth checking out!
